This approach ensures that all elements of the system are harmonized to meet current needs without negatively impacting people and the environment, while also preserving the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Franplast TPE’s commitment to sustainability focuses on several key areas, including gender equality, safety, product quality, and water and energy conservation.
2025 Sustainability Report
Franplast has published its first Sustainability Report for the year 2025, drawn up in accordance with the new European CSRD guidelines. This milestone translates the company’s vision into concrete figures: to foster industrial excellence whilst respecting the Franciacorta region and future generations.
ESG principles have been integrated at the heart of the strategy, leading to measurable results:
- A reduction of 600,000 kg of CO₂ per year thanks to solar panels (+60% clean energy) and a 32% reduction in water abstraction through heat recovery.
- Low-impact TPE compounds (the Chemiton Life range, which includes compounds made from recycled raw materials and bio-based compounds, and the 100% recyclable Greenplay) with certified carbon footprints for both products and the organisation (ISO 14067 and 14064-1).
- Gender Equality certification (UNI/PdR 125:2022), zero workplace accidents by 2025, and active support for local medical research and workplace inclusion projects.
Certification UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2019
In 2023, Franplast obtained verification for compliance with the UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2019 standard for carbon footprint calculation. Franplast has calculated the emissions throughout the life cycle of its products, with results that are reliable and certified by an independent third party in accordance with ISO 14064-1 standards. Our future goals include progressively reducing pollutant emissions by optimizing business processes and decreasing the equivalent CO2 emissions of the organization.

Gender Equality Policy
On 1st August, 2023, Franplast S.p.a was awarded a grant of €8.000 under the “Towards Gender Equality Certification” initiative by Unioncamere Lombardia, co-financed by the European Union.
The project was successfully completed with an additional €3,800 funding from the EU, as part of the initiatives promoted by the Regional Program co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. This policy is based on the principles of gender equality, discrimination prevention, and the creation of an inclusive workplace.
Key objectives include fostering corporate culture, governance, HR processes, women’s inclusion, pay equity, parental support, and work-life balance.
Furthermore, the company is committed to preventing verbal, physical, and digital abuse in the workplace, offering a reporting channel for such incidents via external consultants at: comitatoguidaPDR125@franplast.it.
